Stellantis Wind Tunnels are located in 2 main centers: in Italy, in Orbassano and in the USA, in Auburn Hills. In both technical centers there are Aerodynamic and Climatic Wind Tunnels that allow you to test not only cars but also other "objects".
The services provided range from experimental surveys, commissioned by the Customer, to specific consultancy activities in the aerodynamic, aeroacoustic and thermal fields.

The Wind Tunnels allow you to simulate the vehicle's behavior on the road and to detect its aerodynamic and aeroacoustic characteristics, up to speeds above 200 km/h. The Climatic Tunnels allow you to simulate the real behavior of the vehicle on the road, in extreme driving and climatic conditions.
The simulation and measurement tools available allow you to accurately reproduce the real driving conditions of the vehicle on test objects not strictly related to the automotive sector
The type of tests available ranges from aerodynamic and aeroacoustic measurements, to those relating to the fluid dynamic, thermal, vehicle and passenger compartment fields, in the presence of extreme climatic conditions.
