The Stellantis wind tunnel facility in Orbassano is a closed circuit type with ¾ open jet test section, and a 30.5m2 or 20 m2 nozzle cross section. It's equipped with a rolling road simulator (5 belts configuration) and can reach a max speed of 210 kph

Initially built in the 70s, since 2014 a new road simulation system has been installed, in a "5-belts" configuration: a central belt, 6 meters long, 1.1 meters wide and four wheel rotation units. At the same time, a new main balance was installed, integrated with the Rolling Road System (RRS). This configuration is considered the best compromise between flow simulation and efficiency to manage the installation of the vehicle. This update has significantly improved the quality of the field simulation in the lower part of the vehicle, with more correct and realistic results.​
