More information

It became operational in 1976, with a 2WD roller bench. In 2017, it was upgraded with a new generation 4WD roller bench and a new cooling plant. Recently, a 350kW Fastcharge High Voltage system was also implemented for fast charging of electric vehicles

Main activities

  • Validation of cabin heating systems and related automatic control
  • Validation of vehicle system energy balance on various driving profiles
  • Homologation of windshield defrosting and defogging systems (ISO-17025 accreditation)
  • Validation of engine systems in extreme temperature conditions (fuel supply system, cold starts, engine crankcase oil ventilation)
  • Verification of water infiltration issues in engine intake systems, headlights, and other components
  • Functional check of all types of components at very low temperatures (automatic door opening, sunroofs, rear window/mirror/ADAS camera defrosting systems and others)
  • Specific customized tests upon customer request
